Licencia Creative Commons

The journal ANNALS SCIENTIFIC EVOLUTION (ASCE) has determined a change in its license, which previously used CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. This type of license is considered the most restrictive because it prevents users from creating new works based on the original material, thus limiting the ability of authors to build on the original work and share their own creations, which can hinder collaboration and the exchange of knowledge. Therefore, the editorial board decided to change the license to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, which means that the creation of derivative works and their distribution for non-commercial purposes is now allowed, as long as credit is given to the original author and shared under the same license.
The journal ANNALS SCIENTIFIC EVOLUTION (ASCE) adopts the Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (BY-NC-SA) license from Volume 4, Number 4 of the current year (2025).
All contents of the electronic edition of the journal are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (BY-NC-SA) license, the informative version of which can be consulted here. This allows anyone to add information, modify, translate, copy, distribute or share the digital publication in its entirety, as long as the authorship and original source (journal, publisher, and URL of the work) are acknowledged, and the same license terms are maintained.
The authors are responsible for the originality of their contribution, the veracity of the information presented, the ideas and opinions expressed, the links to other websites included, the corrections made during the evaluation process, as well as any error or omission that may be contained in the manuscript.
Before publication, authors must obtain the necessary permissions to reproduce illustrations, tables or extensive textual citations that have been previously published by other authors or sources.
This statement of responsibility does not compromise in any way the position of the journal or the publisher, nor does it reflect the opinion of the editor regarding the content of the manuscripts. Likewise, the receipt of an article does not generate any obligation on the part of the journal for its publication.
The submission of a manuscript to ANNALS SCIENTIFIC EVOLUTION (ASCE) implies that the authors are aware of and accept the editorial policy, as well as the following terms:
  • Authors retain ownership rights over published manuscripts.
  • They grant the journal the right of first publication of their work, including the possibility of editing, reproducing, copying, distributing, displaying, and communicating it both nationally and internationally, through printed, electronic, or digital media, including the Internet, in any format.
  • Authors may establish additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the post-print version or the final revised version (PDF of the publisher), as well as its deposit in institutional or thematic repositories, or its publication in books, as long as the complete bibliographic reference of the original source is provided (preferably from the file downloaded from the journal's website).
It is also recommended to disseminate their research through the Internet, such as on social networks or personal web pages, even before formal submission, since this can favor productive exchanges that contribute to the improvement of the pre-print version presented to the journal.
