Enfermedades no transmisibles: Análisis e identificación de las principales enfermedades en países latinos

La tasa de mortalidad de las Enfermedades No Transmisibles (ENT) ha ido en aumento, anualmente más del 80% de estas muertes se producen en países de ingresos bajos y medianos. El objetivo de la investigación es analizar e identificar cuáles son las principales ENT en países latinos como; Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, México y Perú. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, cualitativo, descriptivo y crítico, la base data se obtuvo de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud, el análisis de datos, se realizó con un nivel de confianza de 95%, los resultados se expusieron en tasas poblacionales, se consideró el área geográfica, el tipo de tasa y el año (2010 y 2021). Al evaluar las tasas de mortalidad causadas por las ENT en diversos países de América se identificó a México como el país con mayor cantidad de fallecidos en los dos años evaluados (205,9%-año-2010 y 257,49%-año-2021); se identificaron cinco ENT como las más representativas y se vinculó el país con mayor tasa de mortalidad en cada enfermedad (enfermedad isquémica del corazón = Colombia 73%-año-2010 y 116%-año-2021, accidente cerebrovascular = Bolivia 53,5%-año-2010 y 46%-año-2021, enfermedades renales = Bolivia 54,1%-año-2010 y 71%-año-2021, diabetes mellitus = México 54,1%-año-2010 y 71%-año-2021, y cirrosis del hígado = Bolivia 25,6%-año-2010 y 27%-año-2021. Se logró identificar que las ENT afectan de forma elevada a todos los países en subdesarrollo y aquellos que conservan baja inversión en salud pública como América Latina; se identificó a México como la nación con la mayor tasa de mortalidad identificada.
