De la autoexigencia a la autoeficacia: Una crítica relacional sobre el sufrimiento en la cultura académica contemporánea

Resumen

Introducción: El artículo propone una lectura sistémico-relacional del perfeccionismo académico desadaptativo como un guion vincular internalizado. Objetivo: Demostrar cómo dicha propensión al perfeccionismo está modelada por ecologías familiares e institucionales donde la pertenencia se obtiene esencialmente a través del rendimiento, y no mediante lazos de afecto recíproco. Métodos: A partir del análisis hermenéutico de tres viñetas clínicas (Teresa, Octavio y la pareja conformada por Clara y Vicente), se exploran las consecuencias psíquicas, interaccionales y contextuales de la autoexigencia crónica, en contraste con el despliegue de una autoeficacia situada, flexible y sostenible. Resultados y Discusión: Se plantea cómo los ideales de excelencia académica, cuando operan bajo lógicas neoliberales de productividad ilimitada, generan configuraciones de autoexplotación emocional, deterioro de los enlaces íntimos y desregulación subjetiva. El artículo introduce la noción de optimalismo resiliente como una alternativa clínica y política que permite restaurar formas de vinculación menos sacrificiales. Conclusión: Se argumenta que estas trayectorias no pueden comprenderse sin considerar las condiciones socioculturales que producen, naturalizan y cronifican el malestar académico/personal
