The rapid evolution of Generative Artificial Intelligence forced educational environments to redefine the professional profile of high school teachers, who will have to face serious challenges when it comes to integrating these tools pedagogically into their practices. The research aimed to analyze the impact of the IAG on the strengthening of the digital competencies of high school teachers through a systematic review of the research. A systematic review methodology is used under the PRISMA criteria with a total of 15 studies, for the selection of academic articles indexed in international databases in the period 2020-2025. The results showed that the implementation of the IAG allowed for the personalization of teaching, improved planning processes and increased the efficiency of administration and evaluation. Key digital competencies are identified as ranging from technical literacy to the development of educational content through intelligent systems, and evidence shows that targeted training programs improve teachers' self-confidence and bridge the institutional technology gap. However, the lack of clear policies and unequal access to connectivity that reduced the reach of these technologies was evident. It was concluded that Generative AI was an important and effective catalyst for teacher training, provided that there was an institutional framework that supported it to be put into practice in the classroom.
