Agile methodologies adapted to educational processes: results of implementation at different educational levels.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the implementation of agile methodologies in the educational and administrative sectors, with a particular focus on their impact on teaching-learning processes, institutional management, and educational innovation. Through a thorough review using the PRISMA approach, 11 relevant studies published between 2021 and 2025 were selected. The search was carried out in databases such as arXiv, SciELO, Redalyc, Elsevier, and Dialnet, and inclusion criteria focused on higher education,vocational training, and educational management processes were applied. The PRISMA methodology ensured a methodical and well-structured analysis, ranging from the identification and selection of studies to the collection and synthesis of essential data. Both qualitative and experimental methods were used, highlighting the application of agile tools such as Scrum, Kanban, eduScrum, and Scrumban in universities, vocational training courses, and administrative projects. The findings indicate notable improvements in the effectiveness of educational processes, in the development of both soft and technical skills, and in the strengthening of ties between academic institutions and industry. Furthermore, a favorable opinion was observed regarding the quality of public services when applying agile principles in institutional management. In conclusion, agile methodologies create more humanized, flexible, and participatory environments, fostering active learning that responds to current challenges. These tools, beyond their technical application, represent a shift in perspective in how we teach, learn, and manage, promoting innovation from a pedagogical perspective.
